I never really gave this tune a chance as the Richie Havens version is one of my all time favourites, but I heard it on the radio the other day and really digged the groove. So played around with some loops using Serato and this is the result. I hope you like it.

Make It Funky Favourite: A special one for you, from the amazing 1981 album Love Is The Place, this lesser known (well it took me a long time to find it) soul/funk bomb is probably my favourite Curtis Mayfield tune (big shout i know...)

There's not much you can do to make this any better, so I've just looped a few bits to make it easier to mix and changed the arrangement a touch.
all done in one take using the loop feature on Serato.

I hope you enjoy it as much as i have the original over the years. Go buy the album. you won't regret it
